JVC (UK) Ltd. announces a potential safety problem with its portable audio RC-BX and RD-T ranges.
Model numbers include*:
RC-BX33, RC-BX53, RC-BX330, RC-BX530, RD-T5, RD-T7R and the RD-T70RBU.
A faulty mains lead may cause the top of the mains plug to come adrift thus exposing the live pins and posing a risk of electrocution.
Before removing the mains plug from the socket the mains supply must be isolated.
Please call JVC Consumer Support on 0845 310 8000 immediately to arrange for a replacement cable to be supplied. Please have the model and serial number to hand when you phone.
