This year's Concord JVC Jazz Festival was one of the biggest jazz parties of the summer in the Bay Area exceeding all past box office attendance.

Artists performing were Boney James; Fourplay featuring Bob James, Nathan East, Larry Carlton, Harvey Mason; Guitars & Saxes featuring Gerald Albright, Jeff Golub, Peter White, Richard Elliot; Najee and LaToya. Highlight performances included Fourplay who brought the house to their feet.
