When the JVC Jazz Festival blows into the windy city for its annual weekend whirlwind, it's always a combination of the old and the new. At landmark jazz club The Green Mill, JVC gives Chicagoans more of the music that they love. Performances by Alan Gresik's Swing Shift Orchestra and the Wil Blades Organ Quartet kept the club packed all night long.
For the headliner, this year JVC Jazz Festival - Chicago returned to the historic Chicago Theatre, where a full-house turned out to see one of the best and most popular acts in smooth jazz - Guitars & Saxes featuring Gerald Albright, Richard Elliott, Peter White and Jeff Golub.
