Mobile Computer Warranty
Subject to the conditions stated below, JVC (UK) Ltd. warrants this equipment through its authorised dealership, only against defects in workmanship or materials of its mechanical and electrical component parts (excluding battery cells and rechargeable batteries) for the period of one year from the date of purchase. No charge will be made during this period for labour or for replacement parts for the mobile computer related to this warranty.
This warranty is in addition to and does not in any way affect any statutory or other consumer rights, including those rights in relation to sections 13 to 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
We advise all purchasers to print out this page and attach their purchase receipt to it for future reference.

Conditions
This Warranty is only valid if the product is registered within 4 weeks of the date of purchase and the "Model Name and Serial Number", "Date of Purchase", Dealer's Name and Address" and "Customer's Name and Address" details are completed above. Registration can be effected by one of the following methods. By returning the registration form below by post to the address shown, by telephone, e-mail or via the web.
Claims under this warranty should be made through the authorised dealer from whom the product was purchased. In the event of any difficulty, arrangements will be made with another JVC authorised dealer through JVC (UK) Limited 0845 310 5998.
If you should require service for your mobile computer during the warranty period whilst you are in another country, you should contact the JVC helpline on +44 845 310 5998.

This warranty excludes :
All damage caused through accident, misuse, wear and tear or neglect.
All damage caused by installation and/or use in a manner inconsistent with technical or safety standards in countries other than the country of purchase.
Alterations, unauthorised upgrades, modifications or adjustments made to the product (whether or not made for the purpose of making the product conform to the technical or safety standards in force in the country in which it is being used).

No liability under this warranty shall be accepted by JVC
In respect of damage or loss occurring during transit to or from the purchaser.
Where the serial number plate has been removed or altered in any way.
This warranty is only valid when the equipment is purchased within the United Kingdom or Ireland and retained within the European Union.
JVC shall not be liable for any loss, injury or other consequential damage, in the event of a failure of the equipment or arising from or in connection with the equipment excepting only that nothing in this condition shall be construed as to exclude or restrict liability for negligence.
The cost of carriage to and from the JVC dealer shall be borne by the purchaser.
This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
A charge will be made for any claims if the mobile computer covered by this warranty is found, on examination, to comply with the published specification. This Warranty does not cover any software delivered with the product. Please refer to the software manufacturer's warranty, if any, provided with the product.
Any service carried out during the warranty period does not provide an extension of the warranty period.
No dealer has any authority to vary the terms of this warranty.
