JVC is introducing the KW-AVX820 double-DIN Bluetooth® Wireless Technology multimedia receiver, featuring built-in 7-inch widescreen touch panel monitor, Motion Sensor, and a detachable panel. The unit plays audio and video from iPod/iPhone as well as USB devices. The GUI and song information can be displayed in 10 languages. Other features include 7-band iEQ and GIGA MP3 MULTI. DAB Radio is also available with an optional tuner.
Motion Sensor
The Motion Sensor activates when your hand approaches, and control keys appear on the panel. The keys disappear when not in use, letting you concentrate on the main screen. The feature can be turned off from the menu settings.
Built-in 7-Inch Widescreen Touch Panel Monitor
Enjoy AV entertainment on the built-in 7-inch widescreen monitor, which also becomes a user-friendly touch panel with GUI (Graphical User Interface). You can select from 4 GUI patterns; Plain, Future, Bright, and Horizon, each available in 12-colour variations.
Detachable Panel
The double-DIN size anti-theft detachable front panel provides additional safety when you leave your car.
USB for iPod/iPhone
Connect your iPod/iPhone to the unit’s USB port with the iPod/iPhone dock connector, and enjoy music in clear, digital sound with full speed transfer. You can also enjoy iPod/iPhone video using the optional KS-U30 cable. The iPod/iPhone’s battery will be charged during connection.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology* (Works with iPhone)
The KW-AVX820 features built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology. A wired MIC is included for flexible settings to provide clear communication. In addition to hands-free calling, voice recognition dialling, and audio streaming, you can transfer up to 100 contact numbers from your phonebook to the head unit. The unit is also compatible with iPhone for hands-free calling.

2-Way Control for iPod/iPhone
The 2-way control for iPod/iPhone lets you easily operate controls from your iPod/iPhone or the head unit. The basic functions can be controlled on the head unit even during iPod/iPhone mode. The song information is shown on the display in both modes.
Multilingual Display
The unit can display the GUI and song information in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, and Russian.
USB Connections
The unit features advanced USB functions. In addition to iPod/iPhone, you can connect a portable HDD, USB flash memory, or a digital audio player for playback of MP3/WMA/WAV audio files and JPEG/MPEG1/2 video files.

GIGA MP3 MULTI – Play MP3, WMA, and WAV Files Burned on DVD
The system features GIGA MP3 MULTI, which plays MP3, WMA, or WAV files burned on DVD. With MP3 and WMA files, the 4.7GB of a DVD can store up to 2,500 songs on a single disc -- equal to 250 pre-recorded CDs. If you want even more superior sound quality, burn WAV files on DVD. WAV is an uncompressed PC music file format that delivers CD-quality sound. A single DVD disc can store 100 WAV files -- equal to 10 pre-recorded CDs. Now you can enjoy nonstop entertainment with CD-quality sound, without an additional CD changer.

7-Band iEQ
Boost or cut the level by up to 10dB on each of seven bandwidths (60, 150, 400, 1k, 2.4k, 6k, and 15 kHz). Even customise the overall response with the 7-band iEQ, which offers one user- and five factory-preset patterns (POPS, ROCK, HIPHOP, JAZZ, and CLASSIC).
Ready for DAB Radio
You can listen to DAB Radio via an optional KT-DB1000 tuner. Enjoy a multitude of programs in premium digital sound.
